Adel Afzal

Adel Afzal practices criminal law and family law. He has worked on criminal and family cases where issues in one have affected the other. He defends clients against criminal charges including assaults, break and enters, sexual offences, etc. He represents clients on family law cases that involve equalization of net family property, child support, spousal support, and matrimonial property.

He has represented clients at trial in criminal, child protection, and family law matters.

Adel maintains memberships in local law associations, is a member-in-good-standing with the Law Society of Ontario, and is an involved member of the community. He studied law at the University of Ottawa and completed his undergraduate studies in public administration at York University. Adel spent his childhood in Beijing and in Toronto.

Adel approches his cases with interest-oriented negotiation, has pre-trial-application/motion experience, and has represented clients at trial.
